Ahlam - a celebration for world peace

Hannah Corr and Halfouine Dance would like to invite you to an evening of Middle Eastern Dance, music and storytelling at The Gate Arts Centre, Keppoch Street, Cardiff, to celebrate World Peace Day on Friday 21st September.

There will be special guest dancers, live oud from Scott Baker, a Peace Prayer Ceremony and the highlight of the evening will be Ahlam, which depicts the world's great Goddesses through music & dance.

Following the show there'll be a hafla in the dance studio with DJ Andy Roberts, henna painting, group dancing and beautiful solos from our talented dance community including Stephanie Gawne-Hamza.

The show starts at 8pm - tickets cost £10 or £8.50 concessions. All profits are to go to an organisation working for peace.

To buy tickets - or if you'd like to take part in the event - contact Hannah on 029 20 300237 or info @ halfouinedance.co.uk

If you can't make Cardiff on the September 21st, the show will also be performed at Cowbridge Town Hall on November 3rd.
