Classical Egyptian Dance with Hossam and Serena Ramzy

Hossam and Serena Ramzy will be teaching a workshop about Classical Egyptian Dance and Music at the University Hospital of Wales Sports Hall, Heath Park, Cardiff, on Sunday 25 October.

The workshop will teach you how to:

- express the music
- choreograph a complex-looking Classical Egyptian piece by using simple steps
- understand a piece of music (and recognise the instruments)
- increase your repertoire of Egyptian bellydance moves - both modern and classic
- express authenticity and the Egyptian style while making the music come alive
- develop yourself as a dancer

Hossam and Serena are known across the globe. Their teaching style is warm, generous and humorous.

Hossam was born into an artistic family of dancers and musicians and has experienced the true essence of Egyptian music and dance.

Serena has a beautiful spirit as both a dancer and a teacher and takes care to meet the needs and develop each student.

The workshop takes place from 11am till 4pm and costs £35.

Call Hannah Corr on 02920 300237 for more information or to book a place.
