Habiba Tangerina - new venue


Habiba Tangerina - the only regular bellydance night in the west of England - is relaunching at a new venue, the Pitcher and Piano in Taunton, on Friday 5 October.

There'll be live music, a professional dance show, open dancing to an international DJ, costume sales, table service, food and drink offers, and some very special guests.

Doors open 6.30pm for 7.30pm show, and the evening runs until early hours. Admission is £7.50 - over 18s only.

Get in touch if you'd like to perform at this or future events - they'll now take place every other month, with the next event on Friday 7 December.

Rachel Jones classes and workshop


Rachel Jones is back from her summer break - her classes resume at the end of September.

Tuesday nights in Abergavenny start September 25th at Trinity Church Hall 7.30 till 9pm.

Wednesday nights in Pontypool start September 26th at The Settlement 7 till 8.30pm.

Both classes cost £4 per session and all levels welcome - call Rachel on 01495 757144 for details.

There will also be a new beginners' class on Wednesday nights in Pontypool from 5.45 to 6.45pm starting October 3rd - price £3.50 per session.

Rachel will also be teaching a one day Introduction to Stick Dancing at the Hill Education and Conference Centre in Abergavenny on Saturday 6th October.
