Bellydance Superstars in Cardiff 2011

The Bellydance Superstars return to Cardiff's St David's Hall for a show on Tuesday 5 April 2011.

It is the last of only four UK performances they'll be doing during their world tour of Bombay Bellywood.

Tickets cost £16 full price or £10 early bird price if you buy before the end of February.

Avast M'Hearties Pirate Hafla - May 21

Mirage Dancers are proud to announce their forthcoming Avast M'Hearties Hafla on Saturday 21st May 2011 to coincide with the premiere of the Pirates of the Caribbean 4.

It's taking place at a venue to be confirmed in the Cardiff area.

There'll be dance performances, a Middle Eastern disco, bazaar, nibbles, a licenced bar and charity raffle. Feel free to bring a plate of food to share and friends and family too. Freestyle dancing during interval and at end of evening.

Khaleeji Workshop - February 6

There's another chance to learn Khaleeji - the folkloric dance of Saudi Arabia - with Shirley and Fiora in Caridff on Sunday 6 February 2011.

It takes place from 1 till 3pm at Rubicon Dance, Nora Street, Cardiff CF24 1ND.

Explore the history and cultural background, learn the moves of both traditional and modern Khaleeji plus two choreographies - please note you do not need long hair to perform this dance!

Thobes (the folkloric dresses) and props will be provided and also available for sale.

Workshop costs £18 if payments are received by Sunday 30 January or £20 for late bookings.

Stephanie's 7th New Year Hafla - March 19

Stephanie's 7th New Year Hafla has been moved to Saturday 19th March 2011 due to a double booking.

It'll take place at the Guildford Hall, 8 Guildford Street, Cardiff CF10 2HL starting 7.30pm with tickets £8.

Fabulous performances, as well as a brilliant bazaar, free dancing, and photographer.

Shirl's April Fool's Day Hafla

Shirl's 7th Annual Spring Hafla is coming soon with great atmosphere, great performances and plenty of freefrom dancing.

It takes place on Friday 1st April at 7pm at Rogerstone and Bassaleg Social Club, Tregwilym Road, Newport.
